The Year 2012

The New Year's Resolutions:

I myself have been living in Reno, NV, peacefully.

A few ESPN guys showed up and conspired with some locals against me. The record of their flights to Reno, NV, reflected it. Their hands were dirty in Reno, NV. As I put my life in perspective and continue to live my life the right way in Reno, NV, sending the bad guys after me is considered hate crimes of which the Connecticut based ESPN should be ashamed.

1 - The financial peril of ESPN

Over the years ESPN has been built upon sports thieveries for knowingly, intentionally profiting from the games previously determined before played. That is game fixing, sports stealing. A violation of the laws. The ESPN greed seemingly has no limit. With regard to the ESPN sports betting operation in Nevada, the only state where sports betting is legal, here is the list of possibilities: Racketeering, $ Laundering. I feel that the ESPN LA adjacent to Nevada considered the front from which they launched the sports betting operation into the Nevada sportsbooks. You see, Nevadans didn't come to Connecticut to loot and the question is, why did the Connecticut based ESPN keep profiting from the games previous determined before played in Nevada?

ESPN should be investigated by the feds. The FBI should investigate ESPN for their wrongdoing. Period.

If I was wrongdoing even in the slightest, I'd NOT have suggested the FBI investigating some ESPN journalists for pulling strings. It's common sense.

2 - The Tintin Curse: SEE the article dated 12/20 below. To be continued.

The recent Tintin statistics.

The Tintin curse: the element(s) and person(s), who looted the Tintin idea from my other old websites a few years ago and been trying to seek the profits, will die of auto accidents, illnesses, natural disasters, etc. with their mouths and eyes wide open. Some coward Americans whose names I need not to mention.

Remember this, any coordinated cover-up in any form or shape is much worst than the Tintin looting crime itself.

3 - The Australia Example: While other countries are moving into the renewables, the U.S energy is currently @ the crossroads. The proposed shale oil bill is aimed @ destroying America's landscape, both federally & privately own land, for profit. I wonder, where has all the good conscience gone?

4 - The personal resolutions: I need a wife, whether it's a 21 or a 55 year old female.

The Adventures of Tintin in the 2011-12 holiday season

"Tintin is a Western knight for modern times ..... desmontrates the universal values of loyalty, friendship and willingness to help those who are weak or needy. He is the guardian angel of Christian values which the West constantly disowns or mocks." - The Telegraph

The Personal Connection: Besides the cartoon series of Asterix Obelix, Lucky Luke, The Adventures of Tintin series has been with me for almost 30 years. From the childhood days of reading the Tintin books @ the French library in Saigon to the adulthood in America today.

The Tintin Movie: For the first time the first American version of the Tintin series directed by Steven Spielberg - The Secret of The Unicorn - will be in the domestic theatres in a couple of days.

@ Point Blank: In Steven Spielberg's latest "The Adventures of Tintin" collaboration I don't have an ounce of respect for some cowardly elements in the sports media, whose $$ behind this movie project. Remember this, the cover-up of this entertainment thievery is much worst than the wrongdoing themselves. To those, whose $$ behind this movie project, seeking the profit of this Tintin series, I'd like to say this, the life destruction will be upon them in the coming years. It's my curse @ point blank.

Again the cover-up of this entertainment thievery is much worst than the wrongdoing themselves. It is the statement I am hereby standing by.

After all, it is for the children.

The Business of Football

<> IN FOCUS: The in-dept analysis of today's football powerhouses

<> The Winter 2011-12 Transfer Window:

12/16 - AC Milan - Carlos Tevez - Paris Saint Germain: The Carlos Tevez saga

Paris Saint Germain, whose football is as soft as spaghetti, seeks to land the Argentina international Carlos Tevez. For the Argentina national team and Carlos Tevez himself, Berlusconi's AC Milan is the best option.

<> 2011-12 Champions League knock out draw

The knock out stages consist of 3 phrases, round of 16 the quarters and the semis. In each knock out phase the teams are paired up and play the other @ home and away. In the event the aggregate score is tied, 1-1 and 2-2 for example, the away goal rule will decide the winner. The semis winners will play in the Champions League Final, staged @ Bayern Munich's Allianz Arena next year.

In Brief: The flight of some European clubs in the pre Euro tournament year.

Example: Italy's AC Milan, Inter Milan and Napoli in round of 16.

The Italian club football tendency in the pre-Euro tournament year is nothing new. They simply dropped out of the CL on purpose sometimes. In the '99-00 CL the likes of Juve, AC Milan and Inter absent from the knock out stages. Months later, @ Euro '00, Italy national team played all the way to the Euro '00 final, only losing to France in a 1-2 thriller. According to today's draw, the oppositions of AC Milan, Inter Milan and Napoli are Arsenal, Marseille and Chelsea, respectively, all with heavy foreign investments. The real revenue $$ and paid dividend pressure are on Arsenal, Marseille and Chelsea, due to heavy foreign investments. Period.

The Italians are smiling, baby.

The fun center: How will AC Milan, Inter and Napoli fare in round of 16? The Odds:

All 3 advance  40/1  -  2 of 3 go through  2/1  -  1 of 3 in the quarters  1/4  -  None in the quarters  1/1

The Football Finance Homework: How does today's Champions and Europa League knock out draw effect the winter 2011-12 transfer window?

2011-12 UEFA Champions League Knockout Draw: Dec 16

After the group stage it is evident that the game of football in the Western Hemisphere is a dozen years ahead of the East in the tactical and passing terms.

<> Awaiting the round of 16 draw: Dec 16

Napoli: If Napoli elects to bolster their squad for the CL knockout stage, what Napoli needs is the established midfielder capable of leading the Napoli midfield. A couple of midfielders currently available in the winter transfer window. Example: Italy and Fiorentina midfielder Riccardo Montolivo

<> This weekend's Premier League in brief:

Wolves @ Man United: After the shaky start Man United found its footing in the must win Wolves match. Nani, United's current best player on the pitch, broke the deadlock with the clinical finish in the 17th minute. Wayne Rooney followed in the 27th minute. As Nani and Rooney each netted a pair of goals in a 4-1 win, United pulled within 2 points of Manchester City in the standings, who will battle Chelsea @ Stanford Bridge on Monday, Dec 12.

Everton @ Arsenal: On its 125th birthday Arsenal climbed into the top 4 for the first time this season after a 1-0 home win over Everton. The Gunners ended the Toffees midfield resistance in the 70th minute when captain van Persie connected from the Alex Song pass to the far left Everton post.

QPR @ Liverpool: Well organized QPR defence prevented Liverpool from scoring more. L. Suarez gave Liverpool a much needed 1-0 win. Furthermore, Kenny Dalglish's coaching is nothing spectacular, if not too predictable to the point where a 5 year old kid can read Kenny Dalglish's Liverpool game. Liverpool's recent ties have reflected the claim that Kenny Dalglish's coaching is a few years behind in the tactical term.

Newcastle @ Norwich City: Elsewhere, Norwich City considered as one of the best domestic football upstart in Britain registered  a 4-2 home win over Newcastle. I'd be delighted to see Norwich finish in the top 10 and qualify for the Europa League next year.

<> The 2011 Edition: Real Madrid - Barcelona: One of the world's best tactical and passing game at club level.

For my football study, I will look into a few things in this game.

Real Madrid - Barcelona as it happens. Courtesy of the BBC Sport.

In picture: Part 1 - Real Madrid Barcelona  1-3.

The perspective:  In recent years the annual Real Madrid Barcelona clash has become the football attraction worldwide. It is funny that some coward American soccer pundits only discussed the score line, who won and who lost in The Classic(Catalan: El Classic), without examining the deep root of Spanish football and society.

For years FC Barcelona and the Catalonia region had been in the shadow of Real Madrid and the rest of Spain. The Catalan language often suppressed in Spanish life. In 1988 the former Dutch international Johann Cruyff returning to Barcelona as coach changed Barcelona's football fortune. During the Cruyff era Barcelona underwent the transformation from the football academies onto the pitch, playing attractive, result oriented football. Nowadays the continuing Barcelona football excellence has played the major role in the Catalan revitalization economically, socially.

Archive: FC Barcelona in the complete BBC documentary Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4, Part 5, etc. I posted the BBC story of FC Barcelona on my site a couple of years ago.

The 2011-12 La Liga season is still young with only 1/3 of matches played and the football path of both Real Madrid and Barcelona in this year's Champions League is yet to be determined. The Champions League knockout draw is set for next week, Dec 16. It should be noted that the Champions League was often volative in the pre Euro tourney year as clubs suddently pulled out of the CL in the interest of their national teams. With all things considered, if Real Madrid and Barcelona decided to play deep into the CL, Spain's chance to repeat @ Euro 2012 would likely be diminished.

The conservatives recently swept into power in Spain. I am sincerely hoping that it will have the lasting positive effects in Spanish football, especially the Catalonia region and its beloved FC Barcelona.

In my opinion this year's El Clasico score line between Real Madrid and Barcelona is secondary. What important is the country of Spain comes together to tackle the national issues after the general election and the Spain national team successfully defends the title in the wilderness of Ukraine and Poland next year.

<> FIFA CLUB WORLD CUP JAPAN 2011

The major club tournament in the country of Japan best known for its technological advances. FIFA should expand the field to at least 10 teams to meet its football economic standards. The wintery football tourney: Future FIFA club World Cup tournament would be played annually in a country that has the massive crowd like the USA.

Example: A 10 team tourney format divided into 2 groups consists of 6 continent champions, 1 club from the host nation, 1 defending FIFA club champions from the previous year, the UEFA Champions League and Europa League will send 2 teams. The top two from each group will advance to the knockout semis. The semis winners will play for the Cup and the money prize.

Tomorrow's game between Kashiwa Reysol(Japan) and Monterrey(Mexico) is on FOX Spanish channel @ 2:30 am Pacific Time. What I'd like to see is the way the Japanese organize the major football tournament in the 21st century.
